On the 6th of November 2024, Olivier Goy, President of ARSLA (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Research Association) visited the CRBS accompanied by Claude Desnuelle (ARSLA Vice-President and neurologist) and their team to meet the ALS-FTD team, dedicated to research into this disease.
During his visit, he could explore the team's laboratories and talk to researchers, engineers and doctoral students about the team's various research areas and projects.
At the heart of their discussions was the PULSE project. This ambitious project, funded by ARSLA, aims to gain a better understanding of the disease and its heterogeneity. The project involves characterizing the genetic status of over 500 patients, and then correlating their genotypes and phenotypes to identify potential biomarkers and endophenotypes linked to ALS.
