Each year, the NeuroStra institute showcases its young researchers, post-docs and PhD students through a variety of lectures, blitz conferences and poster sessions during its Scientific Day. This year, the plenary lecture was given by Prof. Dr. Andre FISCHER, presenting his work on non-coding RNAs and epigenetic gene regulation in neurodegenerative diseases.
Each year, prizes are awarded for the best presentations. This year, the prizes for best short presentations went to Abdel-Karim Berkati and Elena Brivio. The best poster prize went to Marina Hernán Godoy, with second and third prizes going to LingYi Zhang and Louise Sicot.
