The 10th Conference of the Mediterranean Neuroscience Society took place from June 7 to 11, 2025 in Chania, Greece.
On this occasion, Dr. Emmanuel Darcq organized and moderated a symposium entitled “Habenular function: from neurobiology to psychiatric implications”, featuring Drs. Daniela Calvigioni (Karolinska Institutet, Sweden), Victor Mathis (INSERM, France), and Thomas Jhou (University of Maryland, USA).
Together they presented and discussed recent findings concerning the habenula's role in emotion regulation and its involvement in addiction and psychiatric disorders.
