This jointly labelled research unit (UMR-S), established by INSERM and the University of Strasbourg, emerged from the integration of the former UMR-S 1114 (Kieffer & Giersch's lab) and UMR-S 1118 (Dupuis's lab).
Its main mission is the integration of the expertise of the three teams and the bridging of knowledge within this research unit.
The recently appointed Head of the Department is Dr Luc Dupuis, assisted by the co-directors of the teams within STEP, Dr Giersch for the Psychiatry team, Dr Lalanne & Dr Darcq for the Addictions team and Dr Rouaux for the ALS-FTD team.
For more detailed explanations on our teams, please visit their respective presentation page.
